A weekly gathering for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth & their allies to meet, socialize, hang out, offer, and provide support. Q&A strives to create safe spaces for young 2SLGBTQIA+ people and their allies ages 13-24. We support our multi-generational community through bold advocacy, creative outreach, and fun activities.

The Chetco Library hosts the Pride Book Club; an in-person and online discussion of (mostly) young adult novels. Teens and adults are welcome to join in the discussion. Books are chosen based on group consensus.

Our goal is to help people who don’t conform to traditional gender standards. We pay for products and services that help you express yourself, explore new looks, and live your life in the body that feels right for you.

The Gender Affirmation Closet (GAC) provides gender-affirming clothing, shape-wear, and services for community members of all ages at no cost. Must reside or live In Coos or Curry counties. This includes youth in care who are currently living outside of the community.

The Professional Support Group meets online monthly. It exists to support folks from our marginalized communities who work on the Southern Oregon Coast. We hope to offer support and community. Q Cafe is a monthly gathering for 2SLGBTQIA+ community and their allies on the Southern Oregon Coast. Not an actual cafe, but a group for queer joy and new friends across Coos and Curry counties.
We meet monthly in Bandon, Gold Beach, and Brookings. Check out the event calendar for days and times.

We have two scholarship opportunities throughout the year that the community can take advantage of.

The South Coast Equity Coalition Scholarship Fund is on a rolling basis throughout the year and aims to support financial literacy, vocational training programs/fees, and furthering education for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) including those who identify as being a BIPOC - LGBTQIA2S+.

Southern Oregon Coast Pride has scholarship funds for 14-26 year old 2SLGBTQIA+ youth. Our Fall cycle opens Oct 1st and closes Oct 31st. Decisions will be made by December of 2024.

This is a brand-new program of SOC Pride, led by Curry county members and taking place on the 3rd Saturday of the month at the Chetco Community library from 2-4pm.

Age range is 9-19.
