The SOCP steering committee is the primary decision maker of the organization. It includes up to eight members, and there are openings now.
Monthly steering committee meetings are on the second Monday of the month from 5-6 pm via Zoom.
The SOCP steering committee creates the overall vision and programming for the organization, develops and oversees the budget, and oversees the success of the programs and services offered.

Coos County Events Committee
The Coos events committee meets regularly to plan and execute events in Coos County.
Curry County Events Committee
The Curry events committee meets monthly on the fourth Tuesday from 5:45-7 pm in Brookings, Oregon. Virtual options are available.
Curry events committee oversees monthly social events, plans for quarterly formal events or fundraisers, and plans for annual events like the Azalea Festival and Pride in the Park.

Coos County
Coos County Pride in the Park will be on August 9, 11-3pm @ Mingus Park in Coos Bay.
Curry County
Curry County Pride in the Park will take place on June 7, 11-3pm @ Azalea Park
