Queers & Allies Coos County
A weekly gathering for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth & their allies to meet, socialize, hang out, offer, and provide support. Q&A strives to create safe spaces for young 2SLGBTQIA+ people and their allies ages 13-24. We support our multi-generational community through bold advocacy, creative outreach, and fun activities.

Pride Book Club
The Chetco and Coos Bay Libraries host the Pride Book Club; an in-person and online discussion of young adult novels. Teens and adults are welcome to join in the discussion. Books are chosen based on group consensus.

Gender Affirmation Closet
The 'Closet' provides gender-affirming clothing, accessories, and services for community members of all ages at no cost. Must reside or live In Coos or Curry County. This includes youth in care who are currently living outside of the community.

BIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA+ Professional Support Group
The Professional Support Group meets online monthly. It exists to support folks from our marginalized communities who work on the Southern Oregon Coast. We hope to offer support and community. Q Cafe
Learn about our upcoming events, how to get involved, and connect with your local community at this monthly gathering. Q Cafe is a monthly gathering for 2SLGBTQIA+ community and their allies on the Southern Oregon Coast. Not an actual cafe, but a group for queer joy and new friends across Coos and Curry counties.

Pride Scholarships
We have two scholarship opportunities throughout the year that the community can take advantage of.
The South Coast Equity Coalition Scholarship Fund is on a rolling basis throughout the year and aims to support financial literacy, vocational training programs/fees, and furthering education for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) including those who identify as being a BIPOC - LGBTQIA2S+.

Queers and Allies Curry County
This is a brand-new program of SOC Pride, led by Curry county members and taking place on the 2nd Saturday of the month at the Chetco Community library from 2-4pm.
Age range is 9-19.
